The blizzard of 2011

We're supposed to get 12-18 inches in northern Indiana. I'll believe it when I see it. Got plenty of food and rum, so I'm more than happy to wait this one out. I work at the only place in town that won't close down ahead of time. To top it off, I'm literally a straight shot about 3-4 miles down the road. We'll see how things look in the morning.  I wouldn't mind taking the day off.

  5. I think we ended up getting somewhere between 6-10 inches. Lots of drifting so it's hard to say, and I haven't looked up the official snowfall yet. Lots of snow emergencies in the counties around us, but we have too many multinational corporations in this county to declare an official snow emergency.

Overall, this was an anticlimactic storm. It was bad but nothing like it was made out to be.

  6. I'm just happy that the snow is being washed away by the rain right now in NYC. It was ALL ice out there this whole week!
